"Education awakens the power and beauty that lie within us.” Education does not only mean academic excellence. It rather is a harmonious and synchronized combination of hand (skills like various arts), head (Intellectual Power) and heart (Value System). In the present era of digitalized world, it the biggest challenge before educators and parents, to nurture the young minds with the indelible impressions of a holistic education and for this the students must be equipped with the skills required to face the challenges of future. They can do it easily if we can make the surrounding stimulating and purposeful.
We at Bhilai Public School work with the core belief that wisdom can be cultivated gradually amongst all individuals and it is not enough to make children literate and academically intelligent what is more important is to make them wise so that they are able to use their intelligence judiciously. It is the ability to listen to your heart and that each child’s self-esteem, dignity, physical and emotional well-being must be cultivated with the same importance as that given to academic and material success.

It is not easy joining a new school, however joining BPS is a unique experience. Here, our teachers and students provide a community feel, where every individual is respected, and everyone would find something in common. This year particularly was a challenge for us in terms of new students joining the Virtual School Environment. Given the warmth of interaction of our teachers and students, all the new students settled well into the new school year. Some of our new student in senior grades were elected or selected for student leadership roles which show that talent and abilities are valued at the school.
Being a learning community, our teachers are passionate about each and every child under their care. We encourage students of all academic backgrounds to achieve their full potential through our adaptive curriculum, supported by specialist teachers. School envisages every student to become a responsible global citizen who equally involve in matters of global, national and local importance. The school offers the national curriculum (CBSE). We have many students who score above 90% in CBSE Grade 12 examinations with the school average score being 80%. We also have students who achieve their full potential by graduating high school to secure good admissions in reputed universities. Many of our top students go to world’s best universities either within Indian or abroad.
