    Foundation Stage

    Our Curriculum
    At BPS, the curriculum is designed & developed to fit the requirements, interests, abilities & learning styles of the child rather than the vice-versa. As a result, our BPSites are the center of our educational process & system. The entire school programme is designed to enhance the social, emotional, spiritual, physical, motor and cognitive development of each child.
    Facilities @ BPS
    Each BPS school is designed to ensure an inviting, attractive and child-friendly environment for our BPSites. Moreover, our Special Learning Areas supplement the learning in the classroom as children learn with hands-on experience, in a practical manner in these special areas.

    Colourful & Chirpy Environment

    For education at school to be effective, the environment needs to be conducive to learning, allowing the child the required space and time to interact within the learning and teaching process. Our schools are thus especially designed to create and maintain a stimulating learning environment where children can actively participate, grow & learn in a natural way.

    Technology aided learning
    We, at BPS, provide a carefully planned & structured environment in which the child grows and learns in a natural way. We provide the child with hands-on learning experience by adopting the latest technological tools for teaching such as interactive white boards, e-blocks etc. These teaching aids clarify the basic concepts of numbers; words etc., enhance the concentration power of the children, improves their listening, speaking & reading skills ,enables fast-paced learning and makes learning interesting for them.
    Parents Participation Programme
    We believe that nurturing our BPSites requires a sound partnership between the school and the home. Therefore, we have created a unique school-home partnership programme – titled “Synergy”. The word Synergy literally means “coming together of two distinct influences for a common purpose”. As a BPS Parent, you shall be a part of Synergy and you shall be invited to attend various parent participation programmes, parenting workshops, performances, parent & grandparent volunteer opportunities etc. thereby, not only enhancing your parenting skills but also giving you an opportunity to send a message to your child that her life is important to you. Attending Synergy programmes results in bridging the communication gap between the home & the school. As a result, both work in tandem which ensures that our BPSites are better understood and they receive a healthy & a positive environment both at school and at home.
    Our Mentors & Facilitators
    Our mentors guide our BPSites and facilitate the teaching-learning process! We have a highly motivated and professional team of facilitators who are dynamic, caring, dedicated & competent to teach our children with utmost patience and understanding. Moreover, our facilitators provide security & warmth to the children by creating a friendly atmosphere, in which they can express themselves freely. Further, the personalized & tender care shown by our facilitators stimulates the budding minds to explore, understand and appreciate the finer aspects of life.

    Preparatory Stage

    CBSE Preparatory Program

    The Primary stage of education is immensely important for every child, as it is here that the foundations of literacy, numeric reflection and thinking skills are laid down for the future. At BPS we aim to nurture skilled, confident children who are inquirers both within the classroom and in the world beyond. We address every facet of their existence – social, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual – in addition to academics.

    The course has been devised keeping in mind the best research and practice across a whole range of national/ international systems. To facilitate best development in every child we keep our class sizes manageable and student teacher ratio healthy. The Students work in ever changing groups to encourage learning from each other as well as allowing children to process other opinions and to develop listening skills & critical thinking abilities. This does not limit their learning to the teacher’s ability alone but encourages “out of the box “thinking as that is a skill required by students in the future.

    Middle Stage

    CBSE Middle School Programme

    The CBSE Middle Years Programme builds on the structured, student-centered foundation laid in the Primary Years Programme in Primary School. Its framework encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real World.

    All the subjects are criterion-related and have strong inter-disciplinary elements. This curriculum is approached through inquiry, developing what the students know into an exciting journey of knowing more, thus stimulating a student’s latent curiosity and honing the skills of research, expression, presentation and application. Students learn to share experiences and work in teams.

    Middle Class (VI-VIII)


    Comprising classes VI to VIII, this stage sees the introduction of History, Geography, Political Science as well as physics, chemistry and biology as separate subjects. Appraisal of a child’s progress is based on Competency and Continuous Assessment & day to day observation in the class, worksheets, participation in activities, C.W. & H.W.
